I’ve been designing professionally for around 20 years. My background is in fine arts and branding, which I’ve done in a variety of media – packaging, print, web and others. Over the course of my career, I’ve done work for numerous companies, including Washingtonpost.com, Discovery Channel, Jim Beam, Waterman Pens, Rolodex and Sharpie, in addition to many smaller companies whose names are less well-known. Even though I’ve had a wide range of clients, I simply don't have a favorite; they were all so fun to collaborate with. Luxury brands, home goods, publishers, non-profits... they're all there.

After spending years in the corporate world, I started Sweet Mercy Design™, a boutique studio that allows me to really put my heart and soul into every project I do. But that’s not all – in addition to designing for clients, I also design for myself, producing an annual calendar featuring all of my favorite personal work. It’s a lot of fun, and it also helps me stay sharp.

I believe in good typography, strong style guides and enlightening color palettes. I believe that quality design comes as a result of a strong collaboration and clear communication, which is always my aim on any project. If we end up working together, you’ll see this firsthand right away.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hiking and decorating.
