THE CHALLENGE

Create a line of product designs, abstracting nature into geometric forms.

I have been in branding for a long time, and have always had a love of art which was reduced down to its essence. Taking inspiration from Japanese woodblock prints and Nordic abstraction, I developed a line of product designs to push the limits of reduction and simplification.

I worked with local and stateside vendors to create a line of products which honored the craft of design.

The process of creating my own line increased my confidence and my joy as a designer as well as gave my a new appreciation for sourcing.
