Create awareness of Lake Michigan's resources through illustrations inÂ
a children's book.
An avid Great Lakes enthusiast and lover of science, Shari Buma spent years studying the waterways of the Great Lakes region. Buma authored a children's book about Lake Michigan and requested illustrations that would appeal to children while being sensitive to specific details and patterns.
The graphics were largely geometric and a bit cheeky as well.
The book's author focused the story on the natural resources of Lake Michigan.
